I’m bummed it didn’t work to have you out on this one. On the previous property
you helped me on in Gig Harbor, your report was awesome! Luckily I was able to get someone out that same morning, but they
definitely weren’t you.
Just wanted to let you know that your work was above and beyond what other guys are doing".

I think that Jim is a rare breed in this industry. Not only is he honest and impeccably thorough but his knowledge backed
with his experiences offered more then just a basic report. The lengthy time he spent in his inspection and then the additional
time he took to patiently explain his findings with me was appreciated but then he out did himself with a report that was
backed with over 100 pictures, detailed descriptions and recommendations that he had complete the very next morning.
My husband and I recommend Jim with the utmost confidence and believe you too will be amazed at his thoroughness.

did my home inspection. He was recommended by a friend who used him on their home inspection. Jim actually had to do 2 different
home inspections for me. The first house just had too many problems, which I would not have known if Jim didn't do such
an extensive inspection. His report had pictures and he described in great detail all the issues big and small. For
me being a single woman, it was great to have someone to give me such an informative inspection report. He also was available
for me to discuss the report. I never felt this was just another inspection for him. Jim was friendly, helpful and very informative. Thanks so much Jim for your help, you helped the home buying process go a bit smoother.
"Jim is absolutely amazing! We bought a house this summer and hiring Jim was the best money we spent
throughout the entire process. Having him do the inspection saved us thousands on the house that we ended up purchasing.
If you don't end up saving money after Jim does your inspection, it will likely be because the house you're buying doesn't
have significant problems or the owner doesn't want to pay for the repairs, in which case you can walk away knowing you just
avoided buying a money pit. He has excellent attention to detail and I'm as picky as they come. He is also very personable
and checked in on us a couple of times after the inspection to see how things turned out. I recommend Jim without hesitation
and plan to have him come out again soon to look over things before the first year of our home warranty expires.
I'm not the kind of person to do online reviews. I did this for two reasons: 1) Jim did that good of a job, and 2) he
deserves to get as much business as he can handle. Call him up for your next home inspection. You won't regret it!"

Here's an update on how the house buying process turned out...
After your inspection at 507 1XXth Ave E
-- the address was wrong, and is now 511 :) -- the builders agreed to fix just about everything. I had the engineer that
designed the wall come out and look at what they built. He said it wasn't done right and that in order for it to be done
correctly they would have to start over from the beginning. The builder agreed, but when the engineer was out here on site
with people building the wall, it was somehow decided that they'd do as little as possible to get the engineer to sign off
on it. Kind of sketchy. I called shenanigans and got them to take money off the house price. I sure would have preferred
a nice wall though. Oh well.
white glue on pipes never fully got resolved. They contacted a few plumbers and an Oatey chemist, and they all apparently
said that when the glue is applied in wet conditions it does that. We have a home warranty, so I suppose we are covered somewhat.
I just bought a moisture meter
to see if the soil under the house gets wetter throughout fall. Should be interesting to see if the drainage system is working
real surprises since moving in. Thanks for all that you did. Hiring you was the best money we spent throughout this whole
process. We hope to have you come back out sometime before the first year of the warranty expires. I hope you're doing well.
Jim is a top-shelf professional
and I highly recommend if you are in the need of a terrific house inspector. He examines the house like he was the
buyer himself and gave me a thorough education as he smoothly worked himself through every room, attic and crawl space.
In my 30 years as a Submarine Officer in the Navy which included over 15 PCS moves, I’ve seen a lot of houses and
housing professionals and I can say Jim is among the best of them.
Being a first time homebuyer, I was extremely
nervous about my first purchase and needed an expert to prevent me from making a big mistake. Jim's friendliness
captivated me, but it is his enormous knowledge of building codes, tenacity in exploring and testing all aspects of the appliances
and components, and thoroughness in areas of the home that blows my mind. Not only does he find problems other missed,
but he has cool suggestions and recommendations on fixing them.
We were still comfortable about our decision after the 2nd floor inspection, until Jim climbed
to the attic and found mold, rat infestation and poor workmanship. Jim's meticulous nature is a Godsend, and
his humor makes the home inspection with him so much fun. I recommend Jim wholeheartedly. He is worth every penny we spent."

We'd like to say thank you Jim
for your inspection services. After you preformed our first inspection on a new home we were looking to purchase we
realized how thorough you were. Now having an inspection on a second home we are looking at purchasing and being able
to attend the inspection myself, I find you are friendly, personable and extremely attentive to detail. I appreciate
you showing me and talking me through the inspection process with you and it was a pleasure to get to know you. Because
of your high quality of work we have referred you to a friend also looking at a new home purchase and she also found you
extremely professional with a high standard of quality in the service you provide. We will gladly refer you again if
we know of anyone needing your services.

on a home I really liked. Although the home was brand new, Jim found
several things that I would never have found or even thought to look for. He covered my house from crawlspace to attic and
did not cut any corners. His report was unbelievably thorough, including photos. The sellers did not balk at the needed repairs
to complete the sale and I was very grateful for Jim's inspection. I completely recommend Jim if you want
the job done right.

Jim has been my go
to inspector since I got into the real estate business in 2005. In that time he has completed many inspections for me
from stick built homes to condos, manufactured homes and also multi family homes with never a suggestion of compromise in
his work. He takes his profession very seriously yet at the same time always has a smile on his face and is willing to answer
any question whether from myself or the buyer. In my six years in this profession there have been times that buyers have
chosen other inspectors to complete their home inspection and to this day I have not met another that can compete with the
thoroughness, time spent on the task and knowledge of the craft that Jim provides. Jim Hintz and Greater Puget Sound Home
Inspection Services will always be my first call for clients that want the best inspection possible.
